  The best way to get light in your shed other than running electric is,,  Skylights,  When you have your shed built have a skylight installed.  A skylight is a roof sheet that allows light to get through.  And they are not that much more expensive.  you wont be sorry.

If you have an old run down shed and your wondering if you can trade it in on a new one well the answer is usually NO. I mean try to take your old shed to Home Depot and see if they will take some of the price off of a new one.... It only occurs if the roof has metal sheets with nothing under the sheets like insulation, if your not going to insulate your shed then there are a number of other things you can use to prevent condensation,
