Another good thing about a metal shed is washing it. When an all metal shed is empty you can grab the waterhose and a rag and soak it down, wash it up, and not have to worry about damaging anything.     I do it on every "Show Me Shed" that I build. Thats usually the last thing to be done to a shed being built. So I really enjoy washing an all metal shed.

Another bonus of metal sheds compared to wood sheds is if you are going to want to increase the size of your shed in the future, A metal shed can easily be added to, it will be easier to  disasemble it, simpler to add pieces, and will remain stronger during the addition process.   Wood sheds sure are nice. But the advantages of metal sheds out weigh wood sheds.

 If that happens you had better hope that you have a metal shed. wood is just not as strong as steel, so if your shed gets ran into and its wood , I can guarantee there will be some damage. on a metal shed too probably, but not as much and it will be easier to fix.

Metal sheds are heads above wood sheds in all aspects, But here is one advantage to wood vs metal. And that is very simply, driving a nail, in a wood shed it is easy to just drive a nail and hang whatever your going to hang on the nail. Now a metal shed, not so easy to drive a nail, you would have to run a screw, or maybe weld a hook, however you hang something up in a metal shed it wont be as easy as a few taps on a nail with a hammer.                                                          That maybe the only advantage.

 Here is one simple yet interesting bit of proof that metal sheds will outlast wood sheds. Basically think of it like this, you take a piece of wood and a piece of steel, set them both out in the woods, and see which one will be there longer.  99.99 % of the time the piece of steel will be there longer.So think ahead get a metal shed.

  One advantage to Metal sheds is the weight difference.  Metal sheds are 50% lighter,  Another advantage metal sheds require less material so the cost of building one is cheaper.
