If you have an old run down shed and your wondering if you can trade it in on a new one well the answer is usually NO. I mean try to take your old shed to Home Depot and see if they will take some of the price off of a new one.... One problem that you have to take into consideration is water,  nobody wants water in their shed. And one big thing that some shed builders overlook is condensation. It only occurs if the roof has metal sheets with nothing under the sheets like insulation, if your not going to insulate your shed then there are a number of other things you can use to prevent condensation,

Another good thing about a metal shed is washing it. When an all metal shed is empty you can grab the waterhose and a rag and soak it down, wash it up, and not have to worry about damaging anything.     I do it on every "Show Me Shed" that I build. Thats usually the last thing to be done to a shed being built. So I really enjoy washing an all metal shed.

What size shed is the most popular? My studies point to the 8x12, and for good reason, they are big enough for the mower, patio set, BBQ grill,  but not to big as to take half the yard, or never be able to move it,  Also material is easier to get for this size shed, 8 and 12 foot building products are common.
